Uh what? A vendor would not say anything about that, I've been to many sporting events and had some pretty good tickets and never has anyone said anything like that. It HAS to be written or it doesn't exist, since a lot of people purchase in that way or online, if it's not on their site or on their ticket...it's not a rule.

He bought a ticket that wasn't for sale. Why does the University have to have a written rule about a gift? The University gave that ticket to someone who wasn't supposed to give it away to be sold. Was it the guy who bought the ticket's fault? Not exactly...but he bought a ticket from a scalper...he shouldn't have had high expectations.
